Okay, let me just preface this with an explanation. A hate blog recently popped up that said that JohnDave was incredibly stupid, and that even the notion of Dave having feelings for John was impossible. I challenged that, saying there is lots of evidence in canon saying that, on the contrary, Dave might well have feelings for John.
I was challenged to refute that. There were many rewards if I won. I wasn’t interested in the rewards, really. I just wanted a chance to put together a list to explain to people who consider this a crackship and impossible that it is very possible!
As such, I put together a 9.5 page microsoft word document in 10.5 font, detailing SOME of the reasons why I believe it’s very possible and likely that Dave has feelings for John. I am posting all of it under the cut. It is by no means comprehensive (there are lots of things left out that I plan on filling in eventually), and much of it is refutation of claims established by the hate blog.
The hate blog promptly switched urls, deleted their posts, and stopped with the hate. I’m assuming this means that my evidence was good enough to change their minds. But nevermind that.
